Blue Gobo
Video site featuring video clips of Broadway musicals. The site has been chosen as a Yahoo Pick of the Week, mentioned in the Associated Press and Los Angeles Times (the latter as a research tool for Fergie in her performance in the film Nine ), and was recently chosen for inclusion in the Library of Congress' Performing Arts collection. Originally, started as a personal test site for learning video on the web in 2004, the site has grown to 300+ unique visits a day and has a cult following in the Broadway community. The site is built in PHP with a MySQL database. The design was done with very few graphics, focusing on the content of the site and already-high load times.
